Pinterest Profile Not Ranked In Google

I’m calling all Pinterest experts (or at least intermediates) here. Recently I set up a Pinterest account and board, for the first time, as part of some work I am doing for the Curtain Styles & Types website. Now I’ve never used Pinterest before, so I didn’t know what to expect.

As far as I can tell, I’ve followed all the steps correctly. I have:

1) Filled out my profile

2) Linked the profile to the site and verified it

3) Started my first board (Curtain Styles & Types) and keyword optimized everything

4) Pinned a whole load of content from the main site

5) Repinned some other cool photos closely related to the topic.

6) Got some followers

Now 3-4 weeks later I still haven’t seen the Pinterest profile be indexed yet, and I’ve got absolutely no idea why.

Anybody got any ideas why? I know there’s a learning curve to Pinterest, but I would love to get it cracking better.
